South Country Central School District has anticipated an opening for a Full-Time Probationary Math Interventionist teacher to provide Math intervention support to K-3 students in correlation to the district MTSS plan. The role of the Math interventionist will include the following:Support small group work with students on specific foundational skills that may need remediation and/or enrichment within a push-in classroom support and within a pull-out model. Utilize data to inform instruction in supporting students in applying Mathematics skills quantitatively and qualitatively, as well as form groupings based on the data.Serve as a resource to their colleagues in modeling Mathematics skills and strategies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mathematics education and a genuine desire to help students overcome challenges in the subject.
