The School Nurse will treat students for medical issues, and coordinate routine health assessments.Duties/Responsibilities:Responsible for professional, medical treatment of students.Responsible for health evaluationsAssists in promoting programs on health-education and immunizationMaintains clinical records.Coordinates vision, hearing, and orthopedic screening and health assessments.Provides emergency aid to students and school staff.Assists teachers in instructing students in health and nutrition education.Certification Requirements: Current NYS RN License RequiredIn addition to applying on OLAS, please submit a cover letter, résumé, copy of certification(s), unofficial transcripts and a list of professional references.
