MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ? New York State certification in Students with Disabilities Generalist K-12/5-9. ? Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: ? 1-3 years teaching in a middle school environment with exposure to the Resource Room setting preferred. ? Bilingual communication skills preferred. ? Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others. ? Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
