Date: July 30, 2026 Posting: # 16962R TITLE: Elementary Teacher Aide (SY6) CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATION: School Monitor/Non-Competitive QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Seeking a professional and articulate individual to support the daily operations of an elementary school. Candidates should work well with others, take initiative, and complete various tasks to support students and teachers. They must be organized, communicate effectively both written and verbally, and demonstrate sound judgement. Experience with technology and working with elementary school students in a school setting is preferred. The desired candidate should be able to work in the cafeteria during lunch periods if needed and be able to work in any of our classrooms. Artistic capabilities are a plus. SALARY: $23,436/year or as per SSEA contract (Salary Grade: 12) LOCATION: Dogwood Elementary WORK YEAR: 10 Months - School Year WORK HOURS: 6 hours/day (9:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.) EFFECTIVE: September 1, 2026 APPLICATION DEADLINE: August 7, 2026 The location and hours of the above noted vacancy are subject to change should this position be filled by the lateral transfer of a current employee.
