Posting: # 16962 ANTICIPATED VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: ELEMENTARY TEACHER AIDE TITLE : Elementary Teacher Aide (SY6) CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATION: School Monitor/Non-Competitive QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Seeking a professional and articulate individual to support the daily operations of an elementary school. Candidates should work well with others, take initiative, and complete various tasks to support students and teachers. They must be organized, communicate effectively both written and verbally, and demonstrate sound judgement. Experience with technology and working with elementary school students in a school setting is preferred. The desired candidate should be able to work in the cafeteria during lunch periods if needed and be able to work in any of our classrooms. Artistic capabilities are a plus.
