MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: NYS certification as a Speech Teacher and SLP CCC. Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Three years professional experience with various language disorders and educational disabilities including Autism, Apraxia, and ADHD. Minimum of three years clinical/school experience with elementary school students. Facility with IEP goal development and monitoring. Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Strong communication skills with parents and colleagues. Bilingual communication skills preferred.
