The successful candidate will collaborate with the building principal and Math Director to manage Academic Intervention Services (AIS) student enrollment and exits. Responsibilities include coordinating comprehensive service schedules for students and four AIS providers at Great Hollow, administering state and local math benchmark assessments, and delivering targeted support through push-in and pull-out instructional models.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: NYS teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics.Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:Two (2) years experience teaching Math and/or AIS Math.Knowledge of Google Classroom and instructional technology.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.Bilingual communication skills preferred.APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO HOLD A CURRENT TEACHING CERTIFICATIONTeacher Assistant positions are full-time and include benefits.
