The successful candidate will provide students with academic support via push-ins and pull-outs, academic enrichment, and extra help. Job requirements will include, but are not limited to:Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, parents and students to foster a supportive and effective learning environment.Assist teachers in creating and developing instructional resources to enhance the Social Studies curriculum.Conduct targeted instructional sessions with small groups using push-in and pull-out models to address specific learning needs.Teach and manage Lunchtime Learning Centers to provide additional support for students in grades 6-8.Instruct 7th and 8th grade honors prep academies, preparing students for advanced coursework in Social Studies.Utilize student data to inform and tailor instruction, ensuring that educational approaches meet the diverse needs of students.Assist the building Instructional Specialist with departmental responsibilities.Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the department director, building principal or their designee.
