Responsibilities include: being primary teacher/case manager for students with disabilities, being the liaison between parents, students and staff. Attendance at CSE meetings, faculty meetings and department meetings is essential for success in this multifaceted role.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:NYS certification in Special Education 7-12 or K-12, Social Studies 7-12.Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:Experience teaching Social Studies to students with disabilities.
