Responsible for delivering instruction for Grades 6, 7 & 8. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: New York State certification in Family & Consumer Science. Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with middle school curriculum, Grades 6, 7 & 8 preferred. Involvement in appropriate State and national organizations. Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities such as FCCLA. Knowledge of Google Classroom and instructional technology. Expertise in differentiation of instruction to support the success of all students. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others and use effective communication skills. Bilingual communication skills preferred.
