Teacher Assistant: Library Media Specialist(Probationary) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Teaching Certification (Secondary Level). Applicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Library Media Specialist certification preferred but not necessary. Experience in a secondary school setting. Experience working with students during small group instruction. Knowledge of Google Classroom and other Apps for Education, Destiny Library Manager. Website design, Kami, WeVideo, Screencastify, the Virtual Reference Collection, FlipGrid, EdPuzzle, Breakout EDU, Padlet, and other educational technology are helpful. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Bilingual communication skills preferred.
