The Sidney Central School District is looking for a full time Speech and Language Therapist with a teacher certification for the 2023-2024 school year. The posltion is 10 months and operates on the school calendar. Salary and and benefits will be bases on experience per contract. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to below.Speech an Language Pathologist Job Responsibilities:Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.Develop and implement effective treatment programs.Provide counseling to patients and patients' families about results of testing and recommended treatment options.Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment.Create accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits.Delegate duties to support personnel as appropriate.Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies per state guidelines.Refer patients to medical specialists in dentistry, psychology, or other related fields
