DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGYResponsibilities Supervise all technology services personnel.Review and respond to messages/request concerning IT equipment and application support calls for the District.Provide system administration, database administration, data conversion, custom reporting, application support and version control for District software and databases as follows:Maintain the Infinite Campus Student Management System Data Base.Oversee Parent Square; the district messaging system.Facilitate the development, maintenance and reporting of the required SWR District Technology Plan.Create annual Instructional Technology budget and assist with development of BOCES shared services subscriptions. This includes all I.T. purchases and contract renewals for software and LAN/WAN hardware infrastructure (including the District owned fiber lines) District-wide.Plan and coordinate district-wide technology purchases, process invoices, and maintain IT inventory in conjunction with our business office. Develop purchasing cycle to facilitate replenishment and updating of District technology infrastructure.Collaborate with curriculum and assessment leaders to ensure the integrity of student performance data reporting and analytics coordination in partnership with BOCES.Oversee the management and facilitation of the District Managed Print ServiceCoordinate all work with IT vendors to ensure scheduled work is completed as designed.Implement and revise the “Disaster Recovery Plan” for the District.Organize and administer Technology Staff Meetings, District Technology committee meetings and participate as a member of the BOE Technology Committee.Work with building principals to ensure each buildings technology needs are being met.Assist with the review and updating of relevant BOE policies.Coordinate annual ERATE filings and maintain EPC web portal for E-Rate submission and reimbursement claims.Coordinate and assist with Technology Staff Development.Serve as district liaison to BOCES servicesEnsure the cybersecurity and integrity of the District’s technology, student management system, and data security measures across multiple platforms comply with State and Federal regulations, including computer-based testing and State reporting.
