Position Description The Shoreham-Wading River Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Permanent Substitute Teacher. This position offers the opportunity to work regularly within the school community while gaining valuable classroom experience across a variety of instructional settings. Qualifications Valid New York State Teaching Certification required. Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Flexibility and willingness to work in a variety of grade levels and subject areas. Responsibilities Deliver instruction and supervise students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Follow lesson plans and instructional materials provided. Maintain a safe, orderly, and productive classroom environment. Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and support staff as needed.
