The successful candidate must be a string specialist with a strong background in orchestral music and string pedagogy. The ideal applicant possesses expertise in playing and teaching violin, viola, cello, and bass, understands age-appropriate instructional practices for elementary students, and has experience directing string ensembles and orchestras.
