Summer SchoolAnticipated VacancyPOSITION: Special Education Teacher(s), Individual Skills Development QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: NYS Special Education or Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6) or Students with Disabilities (Birth – Grade 2)PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This program provides individualized academic and functional skill instruction to students with autism and associated intellectual disabilities with the goal of developing functional academic, communication, social, and daily living skills. Experience teaching autistic children, working with communication devices, leading a team of special education aides, and collaborating with families is preferred. LOCATION: Shenendehowa Elementary School (TBD) SALARY:$321.80/day APPLICATION DEADLINE:March 31, 2023 EFFECTIVE:July 10, 2023 – August 18, 2023 (Mondays – Fridays) 7:45 am – 1:45 pm ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:The Extended School Year/Special Education Summer program will be held on-site and all teachers must be available for instruction during the program hours.
