SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Screen each student upon intake to determine OT strengths/need and treatment options. Develop interim goals as necessary.Evaluate the student’s level of OT ability as it effects the learning process.Conduct evaluations and recommend OT services as determined by testingConduct informal assessments and classroom observations for non-mandated studentsComplete Annual Review Reports, Evaluations, Assessments and Daily Progress NotesProvide individual and small group therapy as recommended by the CSE per the student’s IEPProvide in-service training to staff as needed. Consult with teachers.Attend classroom team-builder meetingsParticipate in CSE conferences on all caseload/mandated studentsDisseminate pertinent curriculum and sensory materials to classroom Identify the students strengths and needs, develop and implement treatment planOrder all needed OT supplies, maintain therapy room.Develop OT goals and objectives and enter relevant information into Clear Track IEP and EasyTrac systems.Maintain communication with all members of RJMCC treatment team.All other duties as assigned by principal.Reports essential abuse risk management information to the board of directors QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree in Occupational TherapyValid New York State Certification/License
