The Sewanahaka Central High School District is seeking candidates for an Assistant Business Administrator vacancy effective on or about July 1, 2025. This is a probationary position. Qualifications:NYS certification as a School Business Administrator (SBA), School District Business Leader (SDBL), School District Administrator (SDA)Certified Public Accountant (preferred)Two (2) years administrative experience (preferred)A self-motivated team player with organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficient in business office software (Excel, Word, WinCap or similar)Duties:Assist the Assistant Superintendent for Finance & Operations regarding:Purchasing and Bidding;Grants, including filing, monitoring, amendments, and accounting of Federal and State grantsTransportation Services, including monitoring expenditures and regular communication with Transportation SupervisorOversee Manager of Food Services and Food Services DepartmentOversee State Required Reporting: ST-3, and other NYSED reportsAudit liaison for Internal, External and Claims auditorsAssist in budget developmentTrain business office and district staff in school business operationsAttend Board of Education meetings and other district events when requestedAttend contract negotiation meetings and prepare associated financial dataMonitor debt service paymentsReview sales tax and workers’ compensation filingsAll other duties as assignedPlease submit a cover letter and resume on OLAS by May 16, 2025
