The Sewanhka Central High School District is seeking an Assistant Business Administrator effective July 1, 2024. This is a probationary position. Qualifications:NYS certification as a School Business Administrator (SBA), School District Business Leader (SDBL), School District Administrator (SDA)Certified Public Accountant (preferred)Two (2) years administrative experience (preferred)A self-motivated team player with strong computer, communication, and problem-solving skills Duties:Assists the Assistant Superintendent for Finance & Operations regarding: Purchasing and Bidding; Grants, including filing, monitoring, and accounting of Federal and State grants, as well as grant writingTransportation ServicesOversee Manager of Food Services and Food Services DepartmentPrepares State Required Reporting: ST-3, and other NYSED reportsAudit liaison for Internal, External and Claims auditorsAssists in budget developmentTrains business office and district staff in school business operationsAttends Board of Education meetings and other district events when requestedAll other duties as assigned Please submit a cover letter and resume on OLAS.
