The Sewanhaka Central High School District is seeking a probationary Work-Based Learning Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. The Work-Based Learning Coordinator will provide registered and unregistered WBL experiences to learners in the district. Candidates should possess the following: Ability to be directed and self-motivated Desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted setting Reliable transportation Ability to build relationships at all levels of organization Duties will include: Act as the liaison between component high schools in the district and related industry partners Establish a working knowledge of the curriculum and requirements for each CTE program offered by the district Monitor local labor market trends and potential new programs that would benefit learners in the district Assist students in finding work-based learning sites for internships, job shadowing and CDOS placements and other WBL experiences Visit work sites as needed Partnering with Transition Coordinator and School Counselors on career plans and CDOS pathway requirements (Option 1 and Option 2) for identified students Collecting and reporting required data needed for CTE technical endorsements, annual Perkins metrics, BEDS and CTE program approvals/requests Certification: Candidates must have the NYSED – State Coordinator of Work-Based Learning Programs certification Experience: Two years work-based learning experience is preferred Interested Applicants should submit a cover letter and resume on OLAS no later than May 22, 2026.
