The Sewanhaka Central High School District is seeking a Work-Based Learning Coordinator for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a probationary position.Qualifications/Duties:The Work-Based Learning Coordinator will provide registered and unregistered WBL experiences to learners in the district.Candidates should possess the following:Ability to be directed and self-motivated Desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted settingReliable transportationAbility to build relationships at all levels of organization Duties will include:Act as the liaison between component high schools in the district and related industry partnersEstablish a working knowledge of the curriculum and requirements for each CTE program offered by the districtMonitor local labor market trends and potential new programs that would benefit learners in the districtAssist students in finding work-based learning sites for internships, job shadowing and CDOS placements and other WBL experiencesVisit work sites as neededPartnering with Transition Coordinator and School Counselors on career plans and CDOS pathway requirements (Option 1 and Option 2) for identified studentsCollecting and reporting required data needed for CTE technical endorsements, annual Perkins metrics, BEDS and CTE program approvals/requests Certification:Candidates must have the NYSED – State Coordinator of Work-Based Learning Programs certification Experience:Two years work-based learning experience is preferredInterested Applicants should submit a cover letter and resume on OLAS.
