JOB DESCRIPTION:The Schoharie Central School District has an opening for an Elementary Special Education Leave of Absence position 02/26/24-04/08/24 OPENING:Elementary Special Education Leave of Absence position GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:New York State certification in Special Education, Elementary or K-12 SWD.Be “highly qualified” and have: A Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field and certification in Special Education; or a Bachelor’s Degree and certification in Special Education.1 to 2 years of successful classroom teaching experience preferred.Be committed to meeting the needs of a diverse set of learners.Have a track record of being a team player and community minded. COMPENSATION:Salary commensurate with experience according to Schoharie Teachers Association Contract.
