Schoharie Central School District has an anticipated full-year leave of absence opening for its High School Music and instrumental band teacher position beginning on September 1, 2023. The main focus of this position will be instructing instrumental band students in grades 9-12, as well as conducting the High School Band and the High School Marching Band. The successful candidate will hold and maintain NYS Music K-12 Certification (or equivalent), have strong relationship-building skills, deep knowledge of current teaching best practices, willingness to be a part of a team, and a commitment to equity in education.Salary according to Schoharie Teachers Association Contract.
