The Scotia-Glenville Central School District is accepting applications for a full-time probationary Science Teacher at the Middle School. New York State science certification required. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:Knowledge and a working understanding of the NGSS/NYSSLS;Develop lessons to engage students in the science curriculum with the goal of mastery of the standards;Be approachable and willing to meet students where they are at academically and emotionally;Be a team player within the science department as well as within the Scotia-Glenville Middle School faculty;Engage parents and families in the learning process through regular communication;Be willing to become involved in the school community through participation in events, experiences, and professional committees.Participate in regular PD either through the district or through external organizations;Please apply through OLAS by sending your letter of interest, resume, NYS certification and all supporting materials.
