The Schalmont Central School District is pleased to post for a 1.0 tenure track secondary special education teacher in the Schalmont Central School District. Individuals would be assigned a middle school/high school caseload. Experience as a consultant/resource room teacher a must, with other skill sets highly desired in the next candidate (i.e.- literacy background to teach specialized reading courses). Individuals must be certified in Special Education K-12 or 7-12. Candidates certified in Literacy 7-12 to teach specialized reading for special education students would also be strongly considered.
