Required Qualifications New York State Certification as a Teacher of Physical Education New York State School District Leader (SDL) Minimum of 5 years successful experience in education (teaching, coaching, or administration) Demonstrated leadership experience in athletics, physical education, or wellness programming Strong knowledge of: NYSED Physical Education and Health Standards New York State Public High School Athletic Association regulations Section II and league governance structures Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders Work Year & Compensation 12-month administrative position Salary range: $95,000 – $110,000, commensurate with experience and credentials Comprehensive benefits package in accordance with district agreements Appointment is contingent upon the successful passing of the 2026-27 School Budget Vote on May 19, 2026.
