This position supports the NY GEAR UP Grant initiatives that are aimed to support the 9th grade cohort entering Schenectady High School in September.Program goals: Self reflection for successful high school engagement, literacy prep, mathematics prep and community building and leadership.GEAR UP Instructional Leader Expectations Committed to 5 hours for 5 days from August 12-22, 7:45-12:30 Attend/chaperone college campus visit to SUNY Oneonta on Aug 13, 2024 Keep a legible attendance for participating 9th graders Implement, instruct and supervise classroom activities Accompany students to scheduled activities where applicableSalary $35.00 per hour $30.00 prep/training Job Qualificationsmust hold NYS teacher certification
