Anticipated Probationary World Language Teachers (2)- (1) Middle School Level (Grades 5-8)-French and (1) High School Level (Grades 9-12)-Spanish for 2024-2025 School Year. Start Date: September 1, 2024.General Requirements:Our ideal candidate should have:NYS World Language French Grades 5-8 and NYS World Language Spanish Grades 9-12 Certification in subject area (World Language). Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole. Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal.Creativity and insight into core curriculum.An understanding of best instructional practices when providing targeted, small group instruction at the secondary level and/or high school level. World Language academic support for grades 5-8 and 9-12. Salary and Benefits:According to the SCTA Contract - at least Schedule 1, Step 1 or $55.437.00 depending on experience and transcripts.
