Please be informed that applications are now being accepted for the following anticipated position:Jazz Band - Co-Curricular Teacher for the 2023-2024 School Year.Start Date: Effective October 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024General Requirements:Our ideal candidates would have:NYS Music Teacher certificaition preferred.In this position you will work with our students in the Jazz Band to prepare for concerts. Help them improve their skills, performance and teamwork. Develop practice plans. Provide instruction on music and provide specific feedback. Communicate with families, students and staff in the music department/school. Attend practices and provide supervision of all team members. For additional compensation, the Director of the Jazz Band would coordinate and orchestrate a Pep Band for identified school events.Salary according to Co-Curricular Rates Policy 5281.
