The South Colonie School District is seeking one (1) Anticipated Probationary Teaching Assistant position at Forest Park Elementary School (K-4- 6:1:2 program) level for the 2022-2023 school year.OPENING: (1) Teaching Assistant - Elementary School Level (6:1:2)START DATE: January 2023GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:Our ideal candidate should have;Teaching Assistant or Teacher (preferred Students with Disabilities) with appropriate NYS Certifications.Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole. Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal.Creativity and insight into core curriculum.Familiarity and experience providing instruction and support for students with emotional disabilities and/or behavioral challenges.
