The South Colonie School District is seeking one (1) Anticipated Probationary Teaching Assistant position at the High School (9-12) level for the 2022-2023 school year. OPENING: (1) Teaching Assistant - High School Level START DATE: December 2022 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Our ideal candidate should have; Teaching Assistant or Teacher with appropriate NYS Certifications. Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole. Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal. Creativity and insight into core curriculum. Experience with students with varying abilities, solid organizational skills and willingness to facilitate hands-on activities.
