The South Colonie School District is seeking a Universal Pre-K Teacher to fill a substitute/long-term substitute position at the Saddlewood Elementary School beginning mid-January 2023. OPENING: (1) Universal Pre-K Teacher START DATE: Effective mid January 2023 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Our ideal candidates should have; Early Childhood Education (Birth to Grade 2) Teacher NYS Certification. Knowledge of the NYS Pre-Kindergarten Learning Standards and it’s related curriculum. Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole. Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal. Creativity and insight into core curriculum. SALARY & BENEFITS:Per Diem substitute for 20 days, then long term substitute on Schedule and Step per the South Colonie Teachers’ Association Contract.
