The South Colonie School District is seeking a High School Social Studies Teacher Grades 9-12 to fill a substitute/long-term substitute position at the High School Level beginning October 19, 2022. OPENINGS: (1) Social Studies Teacher – High School (Grades 9-12) START DATE: Effective October 19, 2022 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Our ideal candidates should have; Social Studies Grades 9-12 Certification. Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole. Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal. Creativity and insight into core curriculum. BENEFITS AND SALARY: Per Diem substitute for 20 days, then long term substitute on Schedule and Step per the South Colonie Teachers’ Association Contract.
