POSITION TITLE: School Nurse (R.N.) (10 Months)REPORTING TO: Supervisor of Special Programs/Building Principal/AdministratorHOURS: 7.0 hours per dayANTICIPATED START DATE: September 2022 (ASAP)GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:This is a noncompetitive Civil Service position under the jurisdiction of the Albany County Civil Service Commission. A Civil Service examination is not required. A State Education Department Registered Nurse's license is required. A copy of the license must be submitted.RESPONSIBILITIES:The School Nurse, under the supervision of the Supervisor of Special Programs and/or the building Principal/Administrator, is responsible for providing health services in the assigned building.The work is performed under the general direction of school administrators and the school district's medical director in accordance with prescribed health standards and school district policies.SALARY AND BENEFITS:According to the CSEA Contract.
