The South Colonie School District is seeking one (1) .50 Temporary Part-Time Special Education Teacher (co-teach) to join our staff for the 2022-2023 school year. OPENING: (1) .50 Temporary Part-Time Special Education Teacher (co-teach) START DATE: Effective September 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Our ideal candidates should have; ? Special Education/Students with Disabilities (K-6) NYS Certification. ? Experience working with younger students preferred. ? Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole. Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal. ? Creativity and insight into core curriculum. ? Familiarity and experience providing instruction for students with developmental disabilities in a co-teach setting.
