Scarsdale High School is seeking talented, experienced, and innovative candidates for a probationary Special Education teaching position starting. The school spans grades 9-12, and offers a rich and varied educational program to the high-achieving student population of approximately 1500 students. The school community boasts an accomplished faculty and staff, along with an active, supportive parent body. Scarsdale High School focuses on the developmental needs of students, and fosters a highly challenging, nurturing, and supportive intellectual environment. Candidates must hold appropriate NYS certification in Special Education (7-12) with one or more subject area extensions preferred, have both training and experience implementing intervention programs, and have a demonstrated ability to teach high school students with a range of learning needs.Scarsdale Public Schools is an equal opportunity employer.
