The Scarsdale Union Free School District is seeking a talented, experienced, and innovative candidate for an elementary teaching position in General Music and Chorus. Scarsdale has five elementary schools spanning grades K-5. We offer rich and varied educational programs and are supported by an active and supportive parent community. This full-time position is at Heathcote elementary school which has an enrollment of roughly 360 students. Candidates must hold NY State Certification in Music (K-12) and have experience in elementary general music and choral music instruction. Knowledge of and background in pedagogy, curriculum, repertoire, and performance practice are essential. The position start date is August 28, 2024.
