Assistant Athletic DirectorThe Scarsdale Public Schools are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual who exhibits a love of learning and a genuine interest in the social, emotional, mental, and physical health of student-athletes. Applicants should demonstrate expert content knowledge and success in coaching at least one sport at the Varsity high school level. An ideal candidate will understand the benefits of an educational interscholastic athletic experience with a specific focus on player growth development. The individual selected for this position will manage and coordinate the school district's athletic activities and sports programs to promote athletics and physical fitness as positive extracurricular activities, and to ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to participate and share in the benefits of the district's athletic programs. NYS certification in physical education or coaching license is required. Certification in school administration is preferred. Scarsdale Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
