PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES OF DIRECTOR OF CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION PK-12Works with Technology Coordinator to select new and appropriate software or web-based subscriptionsOversees online curriculum including:Organizing training for and providing continued support for students and advisorsWorking with Technology Coordinator to grant student and teacher accounts access as part of ClassLink for various programs (curriculum)Troubleshooting as needed.Oversees 3-8 NYS AssessmentsOversees collection of and post revisions/updates to District Comprehensive Education Plan (CDEP)Assists with the administration and technical aspects of the District Annual Professional Performance Review Plan (APPR)Support the writing of grants and completes NYS ReportingPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES OF DISTRICT DATA COORDINATOROversees the collection and transmission of student and teacher data including:Student enrollmentStudent demographics (i.e. SWD, free/reduced, LEP, ethnicity, etc.)TestingGraduation rate – diploma typesCohortsCourse linkage to Teacher CertificationAnnual Verification of Data Warehouse ReportsActs as liaison between CNYRIC and district staffLeads district data meetings to review student data and relay changes from the state. Shares information from monthly Data Warehouse meetings with appropriate staff.Responsible for creation of district-wide Student Learning Objective and data collection.Responsible for the annual Elementary Master Schedule and other updates.PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTWorks with administration on Staff Professional DevelopmentDisseminates student data from state testing to teachersProvides multiple data sources and coordinates the district AIS/MTSS data reporting components, including entering interventions in Frontline RTIProvides training to staff on student data and assessment online platformsSupports the administration with the various grants and New York State Initiatives.All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
