The Sag Harbor School District is seeking a Director of Technology to begin as soon as possible.The ideal candidate will possess the ability to engage and work with all stakeholders of the district, demonstrate clear interpersonal communication skills, and possess the necessary vision and creativity to lead a public school district's IT department in the 21st century.Required Skills and Responsibilities:Leadership of the Technology Department to keep staff, the Board, and community aware of and supportive of technology initiatives necessary to support a high-achieving school district.The ability to serve as a hands-on, high-level technician, while simultaneously providing leadership to the Technology Department.Responsible for infrastructure and data management systems: Google Workspace for Education, JAMF, eSchoolData, ParentSquare, SmartSites, Clever, nVision, MOSAIC, Destiny, Frontline Education, Help Desk and Asset Management, Data Privacy, CyberSecurity Planning and NIST Gap Analysis, Security/Cameras/lockdown systems, purchasing and budgeting, etc.Provide maintenance and future development of the District’s networking and application infrastructure.Work with the administrative team to provide support and coordination for the professional development of all staff.Supervision and preparation of technology budget.Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of successful experience in technology management and New York State SDA or Civil Service Appointable - Network Communications ManagerReports to: Superintendent of SchoolsSalary: Commensurate with experienceApplication Process - interested candidates should send a:Cover letterCurrent resumeUnofficial transcripts3 references with contact names and phone numbers
