Internal PostingPosition Title: Female Chaperone – Girls’ Wrestling Team Location: Saugerties Senior High School Position Type: Part-Time / Seasonal Stipend: $2,200 for the seasonPosition Overview:Saugerties Central School District is seeking a dedicated and responsible Female Chaperone to support our Girls’ Wrestling Team for the upcoming season. This position is an essential component of ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all student-athletes. The successful candidate will serve as a positive role model and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and sportsmanship.Responsibilities:Be present for all locker room transitions before and after practices and competitions.Attend and supervise all practices and meets.Travel with the team and provide supervision during all home and away matches.Maintain professional conduct at all times, modeling appropriate behavior and sportsmanship.Support coaches and student-athletes in fostering a respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented culture.Qualifications:Must be able to attend all practices, matches, and team travel as scheduled.Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold student privacy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.Experience working with adolescents or in educational/athletic settings preferred.No coaching experience required, nor do you need to have coaching certification.Additional Information: This is a stipend, seasonal position with compensation of $2,200 for the duration of the wrestling season.
