POSITION: Per Diem Substitute Teacher EFFECTIVE DATES: 2026-2027 school year COMPENSATION: $150.00 per day MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Valid NYS Teacher Certification Bilingual preferred, but not required If you do not hold a NYS Teaching certification you can still work as a substitute teacher IF: You have a conferred Associates Degree or sixty (60) college credits, educational coursework/experience preferred, but not required * The Personnel Office will reach out to all candidates to verify eligibility before being scheduled for an interview. All candidates must be NYS Department of Education fingerprint cleared, and are required to provide official transcripts, and signed letters of recommendation/references to the Personnel Office prior to being interviewed.
