Anticipated Position: Assistant Superintendent for Personnel Salary and Benefits: Commensurate with Experience Effective Date: July 1, 2025 Application Deadline: March 14, 2025 Qualifications and oversight: A valid New York State School District Administrator (SDA) or New York State School District Leader (SDL) certification.Minimum of five (5) years successful Administrative experience.Must be an effective communicator, value accountability and possess the ability to improve performance.Must demonstrate leadership and strong interpersonal skillsAdministers the provisions of Board of Education personnel policies along with collective bargaining agreements, state and federal regulations for district staff.Oversite and staff contracts and agreements.Works with employees in an effort to resolve matters related to personnel issues.Participation and facilitation of grievances and arbitration hearings along with legal proceedings.Responsible for staff procurement, vetting and separation.Oversees the Personnel budget and application of contractual salaries, longevities and milestones.Maintains ongoing communications with legal counsel concerning all aspects of personnel.Oversite of staff evaluations and observations.
