Guides and directs students, parents, and visitors entering school buildings. Enforces District policies with respect to school visitations.Oversees students passing between classes, within locker rooms, and on school premises. May check school passes to verify and assist students within the hallway between and during classes.May assist younger children with wearing apparel.May assist with play supervision and lunchroom supervision.May assist with simple record keeping and reports.Must have the ability to understand and follow written and oral directions.Must demonstrate a patient and understanding attitude towards school children, parents and community members.Must be flexible, possess tact and courtesy and continually demonstrate a professional demeanor and sound judgment during all communications and interactions with building administration, teachers, parents, students, community members and all District employees.All interested and qualified individuals must submit an application through the OLAS online posting.
