Position: School Social Worker Available: Anticipated 2026-27 school year Qualifications: NYS Certification in School Social Work (required) Proven school experience with K-12 children Responsibilities : Demonstrable clinical experience in addressing students with self-injurious behavior, school avoidance, and pre/post hospitalization. Promote the mental, emotional, behavioral, cognitive and social functioning of student learners. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the system responds effectively to each child’s needs. Provide direct support to teachers and staff to support improved student performance. Maintain regular and open communication with families, colleagues and district administrators. Function as a positive and contributing member of our district-wide support team.
