TEACHER VACANCY Position: Earth Science Teacher, High School (Full-Time, Probationary, Tenure-Track) Available: August 27, 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year Compensation: Commensurate with experience and educational attainment (For reference, the starting salaries for BA/Step 1 is $60,759 and for MA/Step 1 is $69,006)Qualifications:Valid NYS Earth Science 7-12 certification (required)Responsibilities:Deliver effective instruction in preparation for the NYS Earth Science Regents exam. Assess students’ work accurately and regularly; provide thoughtful and meaningful feedback for improvement. Provide tutorial support for students in Earth Science courses.Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for all students; encourage student participation.Work as a member of the Science Team.
