Position: Special Education Math Teacher, Middle/High School (Leave Replacement)Available: January 6, 2024 to April 12, 2024 (Dates are subject to change)Compensation: Graduated substitute pay scale (Level 1 starts at $130/day)Qualifications:Valid NYS Mathematics, 7-12 certification (required)Valid NYS Students with Disabilities 7-12 certification (required) Responsibilities:Instruct Math 8, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 (Regents and Functions & Models courses).Participate in Integrated Co-Teaching learning environments.Create a safe and stimulating learning environment for students; encourage student participation.Maintain regular and open communication with colleagues, parents and/or guardians.Perform supervisory duties as needed.Work as a member of the Special Services Team.Complete IEP Progress reporting.Application Deadline: Open until filled.
