Applicants should possess a strong background in human resources, supervision, and professional development. Experience required in designing, implementing and management of APPR, the observation and evaluation process, and providing faculty and staff with actionable feedback. Knowledge and experience necessary in collective bargaining, employment law, NYSED certifications, employee benefits, recruitment of faculty and staff, Title IX, DASA, and human resources technological applications. Candidates should have knowledge and experience in the following instructional and management areas:Effective models of professional development.Coaching of administrators and instructional coaches.The ability to analyze data for short and long term planning purposes.Recruitment, Hiring, and retention of staff.Coaching, evaluation, and leveraging employee professional growth.Contract management, negotiation and interpretation.Westchester County Civil Service regulations and processes.A deep understanding of adult learning theory and the change process is required.
