See: The Rye Commitment Position Title: High School Special Education Teacher - ICT Math Essential Attributes:Proven ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and partner with students & parents in the learning process.Experience designing student-centered lessons and engaging curricula that individually challenges students and inspires them to grow.Thoughtful, reflective practitioner that is culturally responsive in their pedagogical approach with a proven commitment to the principles of equity and inclusion.Highly skilled in differentiating instruction to personalize learning to meet the diverse needs of all students.Demonstrated understanding of authentic assessment, data-driven instruction, and methods for gathering and evaluating evidence of deeper learning.Experience with the various co-teach models, collaborative lesson planning, and team-teaching.Highly skilled with small group instruction Certification: Students with Disabilities (7-12), Special Education Generalist, or Mathematics (7-12)Dual Certification Preferred This position includes a highly competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and extensive opportunities for professional learning, continued growth, and mentored support.
