This is an exam that is offered on a continuous recruitment basis. Position to be Included in Non Represented Employee Rye City School District Policy # 9259, "Managerial & Confidential"Job duties to include:NYS 3-8 Testing coordination, verification, and processing scores NYS Regents coordination, verification, and processing scoresK-12 NYSESLAT coordination and processing scoresResponsible for processing NYSITELL assessments for newly registered English Language Learners (ELLs), retrieving and distributing scores to building staff, and opening ELL programs in PowerSchoolState reporting (special education, BEDS, Free/reduced lunch, ENL, civil rights, etc.)Responsible for preparing analysis of state data to share with school administrators.End-user support with student information system (Powerschool) Maintain accurate student enrollment information for state reporting purposesRectify enrollment and classification data discrepancies between PowerSchool and Special Education Department’s database (IEP Direct)Set up district calendars, term weights, etc. in PowerSchoolReporting and data analysis as requested by district administratorsUtilize Level 1 and Level 2 reportsBOCES certify FTP site.Scheduling K-12 (Loading/adjusting student schedules)Support teachers with PowerSchool gradebook K-12Transferring grades to history after each quarter/semesterRun grade reports for administrators (example: failure reports, etc.)Uploading report cards to the parent portal SA-129 reportingattendance and calendar recordsExtract data from PowerSchool to be imported to various instructional software productsCreating uniform forms for buildings and maintaining response sheets for purposes of loading data into PowerSchool for various purposesManage Blackboard, mass notification systemImporting staff files weeklyData transfer between Powerschool and BlackboardDatabase ManagementSupervises data input at the building level and during the student registration process.Provides annual training to campus-based end-users of the student information system.Annual rollover of district databases; PowerSchool, Blackboard educational software, Powerschool United Insights Data DashboardProficient in Data migration, query, scripting, excel Management of PSAPI & FTP sitesThis position includes a highly competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and extensive opportunities for professional learning, continued growth, and mentored support.The Rye City School District is an equal opportunity employer.
